Text Box: The well maintained trail leaves the back of the parking area and climbs beside the large cascading waterfalls of Crabtree Creek. The trail is steep and has a series of steps along the way. Numerous overlooks and platforms provide excellent views of the falls and the Tye River Valley below. The best times to hike are in the spring, when the Rhododendron are blooming, and fall, when the leaves are changing.
